Those are my favourite pictures too! I just want to travel to those places and be able to enjoy everything. The sound of gentle waves as it hits the shoreline, to lay underneath the stars and watch them twinkle, to walk along streets filled with historical buildings that have so much to tell us, to feel the setting sun’s rays shining on me with its last ounce of warmth before the moon takes its place and illuminates everything in this eery, but beautiful way. I just want to go and enjoy life without any worries in the world.

Starting to ramble now :P I shall add you on Twitter then haha!

At home after work and froyo with friends yesterday. It got so windy in the evening and started drizzling a bit too.

My room is so messy right now LOL.. don’t mind my messy closet. Can you spot my Tarepanda beanie in the corner? I got it when I was in China back then. I wanted a gigantic one, but I would have no space in my luggage for it :( The pillow beside it actually has Tarepanda on it too, but it’s flipped the other way. My friend got it for me as a present back then.

There was a middle-aged man that came into the store with a guy who was probably in his 20s. They seemed to be speaking Spanish most of the time, but I overhead them saying in English that they needed to find something. I went over to ask them if they needed any help. Surprisingly, it was the older man that would translate it back to the younger one.

He told me he needed help finding a birthday present for someone. I was like, “Sure! Is there anything that you already have in mind that she might like?”

The man replied, “Yeah!” and then he looked me up and down and smiled and was like, “You! She’d loooove you!”

So awkward LOL!! I was like …..”ha-ha…..Does she like dresses?” He asked the younger guy who said yes. So I showed them some dresses and he asked me if the one we picked out would fit her. I asked them how big she was and he told me that she’s around my size. “She’s your size but she’s….” -makes motion of bigger chest-.

Me: Ohhh, okay—
Him: She has bigger bo—…..bigger chest.. -points to my chest- than you
Me: Yeahhhh.

I brought it up to the till for them later and my coworker asked, “Was Carmen the one who helped you out today?”

He was like, “Oh yes! She’s the best, number one! Thanks CARMEN!”

LOOOOL… I wonder if the younger guy knew what the older one was saying..

I have a couple days mostly to myself this week, it’s a bit weird. And if things work out, that’s how it might be for quite a while.

Why’s it a bit weird? It seems like my parents are retrying something they were going to do 10+ years ago. I’m not going to say what it is quite yet because none of us knows if it’s actually going to happen. It’s just interesting to think about because if it actually went through those 10+ years ago, I wouldn’t be here in this city.

I would be living in a different city, with different friends, going to different schools. Sometimes when I think about that, I can’t imagine what it’d be like to not have the friends I have right now. I remember back then when I found out I might have to move and I panicked. I didn’t want to leave anyone here. I didn’t want to leave the life I had.

On the other hand, sometimes I wonder if I would’ve led a better life if we had moved back then. Would I have had to meet the people that didn’t stay in my life? Would it have been easier if I had never met them or was it good that I did, so I had a chance to learn something from them? Would I be happier without that time with them? Would my family be a bit more well off?

I kind of feel the same way right now. I’m not going to be moving, but there might be a big change happening. And again I’m torn between two things, but it’s interesting. It’ll be a new challenge for me and in a way, it’ll be a way to prove to myself and others that I can do it. We’ll see though, since it might not happen at all.
